Velin won his first major battle in defense of much-suffered Avern’a. The Lothorian pitilessness for the slaver has been weighed; his boundless want to free the enslaved, measured, and he has been found... unrelenting!
The Rifleman’s frozen cold ire is now aimed at the cannibalistic Jaern. Velin promised the Named soldiers that their home shelter will be made free, no matter the cost. A Lothorian soldier breaks his word, not.
One of the Jaern's most ambitious Huntmasters conquered the ravaged by time and war bunker. This empowered by gene-grafts, guileful warrior, leads a pack of armed to their split-jaws, hate-filled hunters. All vying for glory, hell bent on reclaiming their lost “honor,” and hungry for sentient food. Outfitted with top-of-the-line gear by a mysterious Taz’aran merchant, they are eager to prey upon whoever dares enter their new domain.
In this righteous quest, Velin is joined by Reia the Loresinger, the Named soldiers, and Sam the Terran trucker. Armed with peerless Terran weapons of Peace and megasteel resolve, they will enter this bunker full of ancient pain and secret death. Though, to reclaim the shelter's tortured corridors, the Lothorian and his friends must best more than simple enemies of flesh.
For all those who enter the bunker of death, they breathe a borrowed breath...
