Otto von Carrot
Poems of Starshatter
This Tanka is inspired by the most hilarious typo I have ever read. Thank you Lillyput Fields for making me smile and for your continuous support.
My friends, try and guess how this typo came to be!

My brain thinks one thing,
My fingers write another.
Otto von Carrot,
The bane of all editors.
Oh mortal foe of mine - typo.
Of course, feel free to memefy the dastardly master of typos, Otto von Carrot!

Otto Van Carrot began as a sneeze
of the brain right when you don't need him to be.
His black magic fingers replace your tired digits when unaware
And when you proofread you say " was I there?
Auto correct is his cohort
and makes you scream when forth becomes fort.
Thanks for the shoutout!
Typos can be so funny! I was at a book sale this weekend so I pulled up a list of books I'm looking for on my phone. The first one on my list said "The Armpit." It took me a while to figure out that my phone had used the autocorrect from "The Armor."
