Ooh I’m in! Here you go -read aged as one syllable šŸ˜‚:

The scent of aged books

Ancient dust motes just released

Vellichor abounds

Thank you for the high praise. I myself see my haiku as amateurish at best :D

Youth wasted on the young?

Old school wins new generation any day.

Wise man said only fools will…

Good, goood, let the vintage Haiku power flow through you :D

An aged flower;

its petals droop- and yet

it still has beauty

Great stuff! Like the Terran Morale Officers say:

ā€œThe New is not necessarily better, just as the Old isn't always useless.ā€

I missed this until Starfire Codes included in what she’s reading.

Here goes

After her flower

Awakening blossoms

She’s shriveled no more

She spit snuff into

An old coffee can by her

A crone sitting there

Ok now I have to have a picture of this mysterious spoon.

Great haiku. The old Gentleman has just the right gleam in his eye. Like he knows something you don't 🤩

Old people always know the coolest of stuff :D

I very much like the sound of this- haven't written any Haiku since I was in elementary school, used to write Nature Haiku (don't remember any of them)- it's something I enjoy reading now but not really my poetry style. What exactly is Flash Fiction tho?? Does that refer to the length of the story??

The Black Knight's avatar

Flash is a tiny story, you can read awesome stuff on @Miguel S. page btw.
