Not sure how I ended up here. BUT I really enjoyed reading this, tthe atmospheric description of the coming Frost creates an immediate sense of danger and urgency. I particularly enjoyed the character of Joel, the dwarf doula-priest whose compassion and strength are well-balanced. The ending with the injured elven child creates a compelling hook that makes me want to read the next chapter to find out what happens with the boy and who or what "Keryln" is. You got a new subscriber. :)
Joel did grew on me and no matter how much I character-crafted him, I always craved more. As for the Keryln, the more you read, the more you’ll know :) Certainly a compelling introduction for what could be quite the main character when he grows up!
Scfi, space-opera, lensman-like tales and so on are nice, but this teller's home is the winter woods perilous.
This setting of seasons of Frost and Warmth is, beyond the writing which whirls out well, his taste.
Putting aside being a reader, as one telling tales, this teller is given to overindulgence. Three Gods is a fine number he might never go as low at, but the settings and thus the stories change with numbers, and of course if one goes for 114 for example, it can be hard to keep track, to properly account for the will of the gods.
Three has always been a good number. From gods to mortals.
I worked all day on the 2nd chapter among other stories and it came out really good. New chapter every week, and since I planned the bulk of it, everything should be nice!

This would be a good story to read during a snow storm.
Thank you! In each chapter it will flow from the Frost to the Warmth, depending on the characters and how far along is the plot.
Wow! This is amazing!
Thank you! Next Wednesday I will post chapter 2 :)
This story is going to be so much fun to read. I am already liking this character and having set during an epic snow storm is so great. ❄️
I had already planned for most of it, but as I write, I am sure that it will surprise us all :D

Looking forward to next time.

May it flow smoothly from mind to fingertips!
Thank you!
I love that this character has a blend of physical, violent strength and a commitment to life and birth. Cool concept.
Joel will shine more in the upcoming chapters, so will the kiddo. Plus, there is one bounty hunter character, a proper bastard he is!
I am committed to write more :) enjoy!
