Interesting. I'll go with Option 1. All the others seem a bit too much for these villagers, in my opinion.

Well, as these are mostly civilians and not trained for combat, I'd say '3' is probably the best way to go. Ranged weapons are what they need, so they can keep out of sight and attack from the shadows. It seems like they could do the most damage in one shot with this set, and those guided missiles they can pre-programme are going to help them find their targets! 😎

Gyro-jet weapons are really powerful and adaptable, however they are also bulky and heavy. We will see what happens next time. Thank you for your vote :D

It's a tricky one this week, for sure. Because the scanners would also be useful in option '2'. Looking forward to seeing which way things go... 😎

The best thing in these scenarios is - everything could and would be useful. We don’t have the luxury of having all that we need, however. Here comes the awesome power of reader imagination!

I'd be tempted by option 3 because it's long range, but in the hands of inexperienced people, such a heavy and destructive weapon seems as if it might be more prone to cause friendly fire issues. Option 2 seems a bit safer in that regard.

George did me proud. He took down the pirate. I vote for option 2. Because of being able to take out ground weapons accurately. And being lighter. Looking forward to the next episode

Voting for Number 1. The lightweight weapon gives more flexibility and advantage in the field, especially for civilians, in my humble opinion. There is lots of room for action and technical focus on weaponry, but also frees the characters to move around more and interact with each other. Just a thought.:)

Thank you for your vote! Your opinion is sound, as they weren’t extensively trained like most Terrans. Ex slaves, they probably barely know how a gun works. Once again you make a great commentary and I shall use it in next week’s Terran-Tuesday Tanka.

Thank you, Knight. This is a wonderful and creative form of storytelling.

You know, I feel that one of my favorite things to do following the initiation of The Province Of Terrans is the Tanka I write for Terran-Tuesday. Reading all of your comments and saving different lines from them, then thinking how I can combine them into a Tanka is a real treat!

Last year I worked on a project of mine. The first children’s book set in my universe, titled Martian Papaya. I have not focused enough wholesome to continue work on it for many months now.

My vote goes with option 1. As a former soldier, simple is better, along with weight.

Let's go accurate. Definitely Op 2.

Sounds like a tough guy :-)

He was part of the resistance while Britain was under the commies during WW2.

I want to say Option 2. The laser rifle and other equipment can keep the enemy at range.

Thank you for your vote! Ultimately, the kit any soldier is given determines what threats can be defeated and increases survivability in certain biomes. Climbing gear is useless in a desert, but a air-water recycler can be quite nifty :D

I think option one. Most of these villagers seem like novices so the easier to carry and maintain, the better.
